When a broker posts several times a week, the posts start to look alike, or worse, to look nothing alike. A template solves both problems: it fixes the structure and the look, and lets the content change from one property to the next.
1. Why use a template
- You save time. You don't start from a blank page with every listing.
- Your image is recognizable. Clients spot your posts in their feed without reading the name.
- You make fewer mistakes. The important elements are always there, in the same place.
2. What a text template should include
- A strong opening line about the neighbourhood, the property type or what makes it stand out.
- Three or four highlights, concrete and short.
- The essential details, accurate and consistent with the listing.
- A call to action: how to reach you, or where to see the full listing.
- A signature, always the same: your name, your agency, your contact details.
3. What a visual template should include
- Your logo, always in the same place.
- Two or three colours and one or two fonts, no more.
- A photo area, with consistent margins.
- Space for required disclosures under the advertising rules that apply to your practice.
4. Keeping a consistent image
- Keep the same tone. Formal or friendly, direct or warm: pick one and stick to it.
- Take care of your photos. A template can't save a poor photo, and the first image is what people see before anything else.
- Match your other profiles. The name, logo and colours should be the same on your Page, your website and your cards.
5. Pitfalls to avoid
- An overloaded template. The more elements, the less people read.
- The same text for every property. A template fixes the structure, not the words: every listing deserves its own opening line.
- Never updating it. If your image changes, change the template.
- Posting without proofreading. A template doesn't replace checking the details.
6. Save time without losing control
Occaso prepares the text and visual of your posts with the help of AI, then lets you review, edit and approve everything before it goes out. The goal: each post ready faster, without losing the consistency of your image. AI prepares. The broker decides.
